Explore the beauty of Rocky Mountain National Park in the winter by trekking beneath a canopy of snow-covered trees to a magnificent frozen cascade on the mountainside. We will meet in Estes Park at the free parking garage for a meet and greet and will carpool in our company vehicle to the park together. Have fun spending time outdoors in Rocky Mountain National Park in the winter with a local professional guide, and explore some of our favorite trails! Hike through a canopy of snow-covered pine trees and trek to a stunning frozen waterfall in the backcountry. Discover the basics of snowshoeing, how to choose the right equipment, and learn about important winter safety tips that will make your next snowshoe tour a success! This tour lasts about 4 hours and costs $299.00.

Once we get to the trailhead we will get you outfitted with gaiters, snowshoes and trekking poles. Once you’re geared up, we’ll cover a few basics of snowshoeing and will hit the trail so you can get the most out of your time on the mountain! We’ll keep the pace relaxed and will hike approximately 4.5 miles round trip, on and off-trail with a gentle slope. Your guide will snap some photos of your group along the way, and we’ll take a steady break when we reach the waterfall. Keep your eyes peeled for ice climbers on the falls!
