High Falls fell from prosperity in the 1880s when a major railroad bypassed it. Today, the park is a popular camping destination and a relaxing side trip for travelers on I-75.

The park is 1,050 acres with a beautiful 650 acre lake. There are also 6 yurts, 106 tent sites, as well as trailer and RV sites! Popular activities enjoyed at the park include: Hiking, fishing, boating, mini golf, weddings, geocaching, and kayaking!
