A Rich History Natural Bridge Caverns was discovered by Orozimbo “Oro” Rodriguez, an avid caver and adventurer, who stumbled upon the cave’s entrance while searching for a rumored underground river. Rodriguez’s discovery led to extensive exploration and mapping of the caverns, revealing an intricate network of underground passages, chambers, and formations. Today, the caverns are a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors from around the world.
