Iowa State is the 14th ranked team in the country, while North Carolina enters the meet ranked 29th. The dual features 10 ranked wrestlers, with 3 total head to head ranked matches.

History: Iowa State leads the series with 12 wins to 4 losses. However North Carolina won the last meeting between the two 20-17 back in 2017.

Keys To Victory: With all the injuries Iowa State has sustained, the dual has become much closer than it originally needed to be. Even with the injuries The Cyclones are still favored in 6 of the 10 bouts. With the backups in the line up, bonus points become huge for both teams. Iowa State has a chance to score bonus points at  157, 197, and Heavyweight.

History: Iowa State has a comfortable lead, with a 5-1 record for the series, and has won the last two meetings between the two.

Keys To Victory: Iowa State is favored in 7 of the 10 bouts and should win the dual rather easily. With all the backups in the line up this is somewhat hard to predict. A fantastic bout could take place at 133 if Evan Frost wrestles Anthony Noto.

Visitors can immerse themselves in the tranquility of nature, surrounded by towering trees, rolling hills, and an abundance of wildlife.

The campground has 11 sites available for a quiet retreat. Water is available seasonally (it’s currently shut off for winter) and vault toilets are on site. Sites are $10/day. This is one campground that will help you reconnect with nature.

Directions: From Russellville take Arkansas 7 north for 37 miles to Pelsor, then turn right (east) on Arkansas 16 and go 10 miles, then turn left (north) on Forest Service Road 1205 (gravel)., which is located 1.5 miles south of Ben Hur. Take Forest Service Road 1205 (gravel) north 9 miles to Richland Creek.

Iowa State leads the series 8-1, with the last meeting between the two coming in January of 2022, with Iowa State winning the dual 26-9.

Keys To Victory:

Iowa State is heavily favored to win the dual. So much so that I don’t see any path to victory for North Dakota State. In fact they will be luck to win a single match. With that said, maybe Iowa State decides to get some of there back up wrestlers a little action.
