The #9 UNI Panthers are back on the mat on Sunday January 5th at 1 pm in Cedar Falls Iowa, against #5 Nebraska, in what should be an outstanding meet. The dual features 20 ranked wrestlers and 10 ranked head to head bouts.

Don’t Miss: 141 and 157 should be fantastic matches. Both bouts feature top 10 match-ups. 184 is also a must see bout, every-time Parker Keckeisen steps on the mat you should pay attention.

Keys To Victory:  The Panthers are favored in  4 of the 10 bouts, while Nebraska is favored in 6. For UNI they need to win the bouts they are favored in, which is 174, 184, and 197, and heavyweight they could also pull off an upset at 141, or 157. Bonus points are a must, I think that’s only possible at 184, where I believe Parker can pull off a tech fall.

Conclusion: This was an uphill battle from the start for UNI as Nebraska is one of the nations best teams this year. I have The Panthers winning 3 of the 10 bouts and losing the dual 10-23.

In this article we will take a good look at the Missouri Dual The dual features 19 ranked wrestlers, with 9  head to head ranked matches.

Don’t Miss: 174 will be huge! Both NCAA champions, in a new weight class. These two have a combined 3 NCAA titles, and have been in the national finals 4x, they have a combined record of 135-6. These are two of the best at any weight class. This match will be fire, all the way to the final whistle. The 197 bout will also be huge.

Keys To Victory: Penn State just needs to show up and do what they do. For Missouri, they need to win 125, 141, 157, 174,and 197. Bonus points at 197 are also a must.

Conclusion: This is one of the best Penn State Teams I have ever seen, they have no weak links in the lineup, we could be seeing 10 all-americans on this team, with who knows how many National Champions. I can’t see this meet being close. Penn State wins 9 of 10 bouts and wins the dual 32-3.

The 4-2 Iowa State Cyclones return to the mat on Saturday December 21st to take on Ohio State in Nashville Tennessee, as part of the Collegiate National Duals. Iowa State is the 14th ranked team in the country, while Ohio State enters the meet ranked 7th. The dual features 15 ranked wrestlers, with 5 total head to head ranked matches. 133 and 157 should be fantastic matchups.

History: Iowa State leads the series with 10 wins to 0 losses. You read that right. 10-0. I had to double check to make sure I was correct.

Keys To Victory: Once again injuries will play a big role in the dual as Iowa State is missing several starters from its lineup. For Iowa State, they need wins at 133, 157, 184 and 197, 165 would also be a big one . For Ohio State, they are favored in 8 of the 10 bouts. Many of those are very very close matchups, and could go either way. Ohio State needs wins at the matches they are favored to win.
