Hike, Visit, And Explore The Beautiful Glacier National Park

Meet at Glacier Guides & Montana Raft at 9:30am to meet your guide and go over a brief orientation. Once in Glacier, you’ll get to explore Glacier’s natural wonders on a guided adventure! For more information or to book this activity, click here.

Look for the Glacier Guides and Montana Raft sign and a blue raft on top of a blue bus between mile markers 151 and 152. If you’re arriving from Columbia Falls or beyond, we are on the left. If arriving from West Glacier, we are 1.5 miles, towards Kalispell, on the right. This trip begins and ends at 11970 US-2, in West Glacier, Montana.

Start with a 1-mile round trip walk through Lake McDonald Valley, admiring its glaciated beauty and resident wildlife. Then, venture to the North Fork Valley with scenic stops en route. Take another 1-mile round trip walk along the Wild and Scenic North Fork of the Flathead River, learning about the environment and its history. This engaging nature walk is easy, offering captivating insights. After the walk, return to the Glacier Guides and Montana Raft office in the early afternoon, benefiting from your knowledgeable guide’s expertise. Typically, the tour concludes around 1:30 PM. Our Big Sky Zipline is located on the Gallatin River off of Highway 191 between Bozeman and Big Sky, Montana, just over an hour’s drive from West Yellowstone. This Epic Hike Takes You To The Grand Canyon Of Yellowstone’s South Rim

The South Rim of the Grand Canyon trail is one of Yellowstone’s most spectacular shorter hikes. The trail is about 1.7 miles (2.8 kilometers) long, and makes its way in and out of a forest, as it follows the Yellowstone River through the majestic Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Pick-ups take place at all hotels and Airbnb’s in West Yellowstone itself. Please wait outside for a vehicle with USA Park Tours on the sides. If it is too cold to be outside, please wait somewhere inside, where you can see our vehicle pull up. Guests can also meet us at our offices in West Yellowstone. 530 Targhee Pass Hwy, West Yellowstone, Montana.

We’ll take in two spectacular waterfalls along the way, Yellowstone’s Upper Falls and Yellowstone’s Lower Falls. The hike ends at the aptly named Artist Point, which provides the best views of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Note that there are some small inclines and descents on this trail, which is at elevation. This trip takes about 5 hours and costs $315.00.
